In just our first conversation, I instantly knew Kristin's go-get-'em personality, professionalism and confidence would be exactly what our program needed. We feel that the on-site visit we had with [Jillian] was very beneficial. We realized that we needed to grow and develop our program, but we were not sure how to accomplish this. We worked closely with our consultant on our new service line and accomplished in five months what we couldn't accomplish in more than two years of trying on our own.

We routinely see patients [with an oncology diagnosis] in our practice for management of hypertension, diabetes, and other non-cancer co-morbidity. It is common to see these patients come in more and more deteriorated, usually due to their chemo treatments. We'd recognized for a long time that we had an unmet need to get some of our more debilitated patients into the appropriate survivorship services. We worked with very little success for a long time to put something in place that could routinely identify and trigger a referral for those patients who were appropriate for cancer rehab services. Despite some minimal successes on our own we just couldn't find consistency in our method. It felt like we were always starting over. Things would be going ok but then fall apart if someone left the department or went on leave. Survivorship Solutions was able to create and implement a comprehensive screening-reviewing-referring-reporting process for Cancer Rehab within just a few weeks that is now being consistently used by our staff, both new and old.

This company and their partners are definitely improving the lives of employees returning to the workplace after medical leave. We didn't anticipate how popular their on-site presentation, ‘Welcoming Survivors Back to Work’ would be with our employees, but we've received overwhelmingly positive feedback since offering the 45min. presentation as a (free) lunch-and-learn for our employees. We've offered the presentation twice over the past four months and some employees have gone to both.
